**DONT ADVERTIZE your town on this page

Click the spoiler tab (show) on which section you need help with
Towny is a plugin that adds the ability to run a town with residents or nations with towns in it.
each server the prices vary our server is:
• Town:$25000, up keep: 10$
• Nation:$1000000, up keep: 100$

Before you can make a town you need money, there are many ways of getting rich:

• Selling items at shops:
Just find a shop and right click a sign to sell that corresponding item
• Jobs
you can get a job by doing /jobs easy way to earn money
• Bounty
do /bounty to get help page, look up bounty's, kill that person then do /bounty redeem (NEED player head to redeem, thanks to lunar) to claim the money if not claimed

When you earn 25k+ (25k=25000 if you didnt know) go to a spot in the wild that is not right next a town (about 8+ chunks) To make a new town type this command (do /t as a shortcut to /town) /town new (what you want as your town name), once this is complete you made a town.

Afterwards you want to expand so first type /town deposit (amount) this is to fund your town and the up keep is 10$ daily, this is also for claiming chunks, once the money is deposited go to a unclaimed chunk and type /town claim(/town claim ? for more options)
claiming a chunk cost $250

You only start with 8 town blocks, but when you run out what do you do? well there are two ways to get more blocks first is to add residents by doing /town add (name) this gives you 8 more blocks, method 2 is asking support or koolio for bonus blocks, there is a limit to extra we can give also each block cost 1k each ($1000) to get a town block (plus 250 to claim the wanted chunk so total amount of money per chunk is 1250)

(recommended /town toggle pvp to turn off pvp default is pvp= on, /town set public to avoid town campers)

once you get more people in town you need to maintain the town.

help command /town mayor ? brings up help pages for mayor you can look there but a few things i want to go over

Base command/town set base command to set town properties
Base command/town set perm base command to set town permissions (IE /town set perm build off)
Base command/town toggle toggles town properties (IE /town toggle pvp)

remember: add money to town bank

Plots are individual chunks "sectioned" off for people to own and build on.

For mayor: to put a plot up for sale use /plot (status) (amount)  The status of a plot is whether the plot is For sale or Not For Sale to set it in status put FS to make it for sale or NFS to make it not for sale

Residents: for residents, when a mayor puts a plot for sale, do /plot claim to claim the plot (Note: you have to have the set amount of money to claim the plot).  When you get a plot you can set perms or toggle stuff like /t set or /t toggle but it only effects that plot you own (stand inside plot for it to work)

Base command/help command/plot
Base command/plot set set who can build, destroy ect.
Base command/plot toggle set pvp, mob spawning ect.

Plots are great for mayors protecting there towns without sponges, or making pvp arenas in town, also mob grinders in town.
Plots are great for residents to protect there buildings without using sponges

What is a nation? a nation is a collection of towns in alliance with other towns, this means multiple towns are "ruled" under one king and you guys still keep a town.

Common misunderstanding with nations:
• No thanks im a mayor of a town already:
Nations are a collection of towns, you keep your town and residents but you form alliance with other towns
For bounty, you need the PLAYER'S HEAD to claim the bounty, which is received from killing the player
Think dirt is useless? Think again.
