lemme guess.... that amd mantle support is a real fps boost :D
-
Good news: He cant play mc.
Bad news: He is back.
Hallo, bizznitches, I'm back.
-
I'm using vanilla Minecraft.
And Mantle has nothing to do with it, Minecraft runs on DirectX.

And Mantle has nothing to do with it
It was a wild guess because amd new driver release includes it... not that mantle support would actually works in minecraft, just that amd drivers are usually buggy :D
Minecraft runs on DirectX.
And no Java only supports Opengl, its why minecraft works on osx and linux.
If minecraft worked with DirectX, it would have better fps performance and have memory usage, as it would be most likely be using C++ instead of Java.

DirectX OpenGL BobGLX PotatoMG EchoGX it's all the same ._.

So like, does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Otherwise I can't play Minecraft...
-
I guess not. You can always try to reinstal minecraft if you haven't done that yet, and make sure you try without any mods/recource packs. Otherwise I would not know how to fix it... :(

other games work?
try fresh minecraft install?
try different drivers?

This happened with me. Go to settings - video setting- and in the bottom right youll see mipmap setting turn it off.
