Finally done..
About time Kraftzone had its own official trailer, thanks to many who took part and those who had stuff they built featured in the video, next time I try cram in more awesome builds! Was just so much I wanted to include, only ran out of time with music tracks I used.
It's not perfect and probably have to watch a few times to read everything, use 720p larger window size or fullscreen

For servers first trailer I think its great, so give it a thumbs up, leave a comment, subscribe (yes I'll be uploading more vids perhaps history of Kraftzone builds, featuring all the great towns and builds made on the server since it start.

Cityworld contest did infact finish (despite my lack of posting on here), thanks to those who took part and congratz to all those who won prizes (about 5 of you :D)
I'll be honest it was one of the more disappointing contests, its a shame I never did get to start the contest during the summer holidays when many would have preferred. Or maybe it was just building something modern was just not so easy.
Either way, I will definitely be holding another building contest before the end of the year so be on the look out for that.

Good Things: Post-FX are solid, good looking visuals. Music and video come together nicely. HD and Shaders really up the effect of the cinematic pans.
Bad Things: Some pans have your player shadow, which reduces the quality of the pans. In the Quake segment, chat is shown which contrasts badly with the ongoing cinematic feel. Some pan shots are slightly laggy.
Overall Rating: ★★★★☆

It is not about good or bad, it is just cool. You looking for attention gets a bit annoying sometimes.

Yeh I'm aware of that, all of that 2d text was really just an after thought that was added last to the trailer ( it was just going to be the warp command at the top, and the 3d text for certain clips.) When scrubbing video in the editor you tend to see it on screen longer than it really is when played in realtime. Still if you watch in higher quality and bigger window size its not to bad.
As for the segments with player shadows, well some of those clips were recorded first before I got smartmoving working properly. I don't mind the shadows where the player model is actually flying, but the ones where its running really just didn't want to refilm them those clips again basically.

Yeh thats why the blur effects were used, the quake clips were really just the last thing I wanted to get into the trailer.

I ended up time shrinking the whole lot of those quake clips to be like 65% shorter and its still too long you say.. next time I just use less clips and have them at 100% speed instead because to me it looks weird having them play so fast.
I might make some more adjusts and upload it again, will see.
