I recently became mayor of a town and I let someone in my town and that person was able to break blocks out side of there plot. I was wondering how can i make it so a resident can not beak blocks out side of there plot?~Cyber

did you make them an assistant or secretary? If so, they can do that. If not, make sure the permissions for the plots are not set so that they can break and create blocks. I think the command to do that is /plot set perm reset or /town set perm..<I cant go past this>. You can do /towny for all the commands. I apparently cannot see some of the commands because I am not in a town haha!
Im not an expert on these things, but this is what I would try first. Im not sure if rules have changed for towny in the past 4 months. Hope this helps!

Do /t set perm resident [build/destroy] [on/off]
/t set perm resident build off
/t set perm resident destroy off
-
yeah....I couldn't see those commands for /t set blah blah blah.... I couldn't go past /t set :P

you do any towny command and put a ? on the end it will usually give more info
like "/t set ?", "/t set perm ?"
-
do i do that on every plot?
-
no thats for the whole town, residents have there own perms for the plots they own.. so if u turn build/destroy off, they can't build/destroy outside of there plots

/t set perm off
also works.
