I would like to suggest a new map. I don't know if that is possible or not, but I just feel like the amplified map is a bit crowded and we haven't had any
 New maps in a while. And of coarse the idea is to have the new map once the server is 1.8, bit I have no idea how long that is going to take. I suggest we should support koolio in some ways to speed up the update if he wants to and if it's possible.

My other point is that the tab thingy indicates a lot online players. It is a bit difficult to see whether there is someone else online or not. I guess it just needs a little cleanup.

I was thinking of just increasing the worldborder for 1.8 amp world.. and changing wilderness locations for it so they are further away from existing towns.

However could start a new non-amped world for 1.8 aswel.. I just feel like minecraft 1.7-1.8 hasn't really changed or improved in anyway with regards to terrain gen whatsoever to really need a new map, at least not when worldborders could just be increased.

If a completely new world is started the worldborder radius will be capped to around 30k i think

Increasing the worldborder might be a good solution. I'd like it as much as I like a new map. It is all about the untouched terrain for me
