Launcher troubles

Flamewolf:
Ok! I'm also working out some internet issues with connecting. I'm working it out and will hopefully have it all done and be back on by next Sunday.

johnny:
Hopefully, you'll get it done. Good luck then!

Koolio:
Well it won't have any of my custom modpacks, but it won't be long until it does, 1.7.9 should be getting mcp modding support soon. So I will be putting together a custom pack with that, and will redo 1.7.2 mods along with it and a new launcher that supports modpacks.

But thats maybe a few weeks away still, I guess my motivation will be based on mcp getting 1.7.9 out soon.

"Ok! Will it be a new version of MC?"

It has all the minecraft releases, including snapshots. Just no modpacks, but you can install mods yourself in this version, including using installers like the forge one. I guess I'll do a video tutorial on using my launcher when its properly released with modpack support.

Flamewolf:
Sweet! And I just got my internet back on! But one last thing. What do I need to run the launcher itself? When I try to start it right now, it says something about a "java virtual machine" not working or something like that. Should I be worried?

Koolio:
you don't have java installed?

its installed but broken?

no idea I use java portable, that can be installed with the launcher
