Choose one or the other Koolio. Make up your mind. I don't like having two maps. And give us our perms back. I'm not gonna be on KZ for a long time until this is fixed.

We're not gonna go back to the one old map, and donators will get creative back once we can restrict creative so we don't have

1)Inflated economy
2)Un-legit items
3)Free handing out of items
4)Shit loads of sponges

So I guess you're just gonna have to wait

Bek, there are going to be multiple maps, so honestly, you're gonna have to deal with that.

As Koolio has explained, for the time being, the current map will be all survival. If you want creative use, that will be available on another map.

Fixed? Nothing's broken except 1.5 :D There is nothing broken, this is a change, and along with every other donator, you're gonna just have to get used to the changes.

To be honest, this is a disrespectful post. You're being very demanding, and Koolio doesn't have to listen to you. The new setup has been thoroughly explained on the front page.

You have all tier 1/2/3 perms in all maps... it is only creative mode that has been removed from the new survival only map for now.


It's been explained more than enough times... I even tried to get you are region setup in the old world so you could get back to playing like you did before with unrestricted creative mode!

I cannot let you have unrestrictive creative mode in the new survival only map. At some point in the future when more server plugins are working and there happens to be a very good plugin for allowing a controlled creative mode, then I will let you use that in the survival map.

And when the old map is better protected, then new players and old will be able to play on both maps freely.

I'm not going to cave in and just allow the map to go back to the mess it was before where donators with creative gave out items and greifed or spawned tons of mobs everywhere. And if that is not the kind of player you are, then you shouldn't have any problems respecting my decisions on this new change.

I might move a build to the survival world.. but it really depends on a bunch of factors like it always has done before.

I do have 1 question. Does this mean we won't be able to sell anything in creative mode?

Nope will be making sure that before the shop plugin comes back, that creative users cannot sell items to get inflated bank account.

You see the problem is not that I mind donators and creative users having unlimited money and items to use for themself.. its that somehow, someone, someway will mess it up.


[New survival map / Sky spawn] -Harder more restrictions.
- money can be earnt and spent
- shop system
- antixray
- survival only inventory
- Towns, Mycunk, WG protection

[Old kraftzone map] -Easier cheating allowed.
- money cannot be earnt (only spent like buying a town)
- no shops
- no antixray
- survival or creative
- Towns, Mycunk, WG protection

I am hoping by end of next week that the old kraftzone map building and towns are adequately protected, then the global permission to build/destroy anywhere in wilderness is allowed. Then at sky spawn some proper signs to each world map letting players know about the differences.

Upto players which way they want to play and which maps they build on the most.

Why fluffy, by voting :D

It seems by the far the best way... as jobs plugin and money rewards for killing mobs are up in the air... I'm more inclined to bring back McMmo to the survival only map as a replacement for both jobs and mob rewards.

Voting gets in enough money for anyone to keep a town going (Towny requiring some sort of economy system was originally the only factor in Kraftzone needing money in the first place)

The goal is that the survival only map will be moved towards a trading economy, money will still work and the shop will come back. Just not like it used to work  in kraftzone where it got to the point that jobs and mob rewards would be more effective ways of getting money to buy other items at the shop. Instead of actually farming/mining and getting items more legit like.

Of course the old zone map will be where item cheating will go on and I won't care much about it if a donator was to drop items for someone else to build with. Just so long as that kind of cheating doesn't effect the survival map.

Koolio, I did find a glitch. I was going back to the old kraftzone and just switching through my inventory using ./ti. I took something out of creative and put it in a ti slot. I went back to the regular world and it was there. Idk if it works anymore, just letting you know :)
