Donator Spawners

I always remember spawners being free. But now sly and fish said they weren't. What is the reason for them costing and do they actually cost?

why do people always have to abuse things? I donated money for these perks and now, one by one, they are being taken away. It's kinda sad...why can't people act a little more mature? Seriously, PLEASE stop abusing things and ruining it for the rest of us. Abusing perks only makes it so Koolio has to take them away from us. It's not rocket science!
